January marks my first year with the team at T: The New York Times Style Magazine (Singapore). I have learnt so much in my short stint here. I have also come to acknowledged that I have grown in many ways. From an intern to a contributing writer, the pieces I have been writing have evolved too.
In the first issue of the new decade, I took over an interview and penned a piece on “Digital Beauty” (featuring the legendary 3D makeup artist Inez Alpha) as well as a piece featuring Jonathan Yong-ern Lim, a Singaporean artist who draws almost-nostalgic portraits.
